Residence Admission Policy
Admission to residence at 荔枝成人app is governed by the Residence Admission Policy and Residence Agreement and is administered by the Office of the Dean of 荔枝成人app.

RESIDENCE ADMISSION POLICY FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS
In order to maintain their space while living in residence, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 3.0 FCEs, with a minimum of 3 courses in each of the Fall and Winter semesters, or a comparable course load in the Faculty of Divinity.

1. Newly Admitted First-Year 荔枝成人app: Faculty of Arts & Science
荔枝成人app aims to house, within its residences, as many Trinity students in the Faculty of Arts and Science who are eligible for the聽聽as possible, and will allocate approximately half of its initial residence spaces to students in this category.

2. Newly Admitted 荔枝成人app: Faculty of Divinity
Newly admitted students in the 荔枝成人app Faculty of Divinity who have never before lived in the 荔枝成人app residences are guaranteed a space in residence at the College, provided that they complete the residence application and all requirements by the residence application deadline for newly admitted students. All other Divinity students must apply for residence under the Divinity categories listed below. 3. Newly Admitted First-Entry Professional Faculty 荔枝成人app
Trinity reserves a limited number of spaces for students within first-entry professional faculties who are eligible for the . Interested and eligible first-entry professional faculty students should contact the Office of the Dean of 荔枝成人app for more information regarding the application procedure.
4. Newly Admitted Upper-Year 荔枝成人app - CEGEP or University/College Transfers
Trinity students within this category are generally not eligible for the University of Toronto Residence Guarantee for First-Year Applicants. Nevertheless, Trinity will strive to offer residence to as many of these students as possible. 荔枝成人app within this category should contact the Office of the Dean of 荔枝成人app for more information regarding the application procedure.
荔枝成人app must meet all deadlines and deposit requirements in order to maintain their eligibility for residence.
RESIDENCE ADMISSION POLICY FOR UPPER-YEAR STUDENTS
荔枝成人app values the contribution of upper-year students to the residence community, and as a result, approximately half of initial residence spaces will be allocated to Trinity upper-year students in the Arts & Sciences and Divinity. 荔枝成人app may apply for residence as an upper-year student after first year, and will be allowed up to a maximum of five total years in the 荔枝成人app residences.
In order to be eligible for residence in any year following first year, students must be in good standing, as defined by the University, and have a minimum AGPA of 1.50+, as recorded on their transcript, on a minimum of 3.0 FCEs for the most recent Fall/Winter academic session.

How to Re-Apply to Residence as an Upper-Year Student: Quick Facts
Am I eligible?
- To be eligible for residence in any year following first year, students must be in good standing, as defined by the University, and have a minimum AGPA of 1.50+, as recorded on their transcript, on a minimum of 3.0 Full Course Equivalents (FCEs) for the most recent Fall/Winter academic session.
- All upper-year students are invited to apply for residence, regardless of whether they currently live in residence or not. 荔枝成人app may live in the 荔枝成人app residences for a maximum of 5 years throughout the course of their studies.
What does the application look like?
- No deposit is required with your residence application.聽 Deposits will only be required in order to accept a residence offer.
- Residence spaces will be first allocated to students based on a lottery.
- 荔枝成人app who have not been allocated a space in residence through the residence lottery, will be randomly assigned to the upper-year waiting list.
- 荔枝成人app who have been offered a space in residence and those offered a space on the upper-year waiting list will be notified of their status in the process at the same time, in March/early April.
- 荔枝成人app who are not admitted to residence via the residence lottery have the opportunity to submit a Dean’s Discretionary Appeal, details below.
- The whole application process is completed online.
- The room request process will occur after you are admitted to residence, in April.

Trinity Arts & Science and Divinity 荔枝成人app Both Currently and Not Currently in Residence
All upper year student applicants who meet the application deadline will be entered into the residence lottery.

Upper year, first-entry professional faculty students who are currently living in residence are eligible to apply for readmission.
First-Entry Professional Faculty 荔枝成人app Not Currently in Residence
Upper-year, first-entry professional faculty students, who do not currently live in residence, but who have lived in a 荔枝成人app residence previously, are eligible to apply for readmission.
Dean鈥檚 Discretionary Category
荔枝成人app understands that some students who may require residence may not meet the minimum requirements, or be admissible under any of the above noted categories. Such students should submit a written Dean鈥檚 Discretionary Appeal, which will be reviewed by the Dean of 荔枝成人app and a space in residence may be offered at the discretion of the Dean.
